Non-contacting Area Velocity Flow Meter for Open Channel Flow

MicroFlow delivers accurate and repeatable velocity flow measurement, either as a stand-alone device or as part of a complete area velocity flow meter system.

Velocity x area calculation using MicroFlow provides a cost-effective flow measurement option compared to the installation of a primary measurement device, such as a flume, and provides a viable alternative where the hydraulics of the site do not allow for a restriction in the channel.

MicroFlow can operate as a stand-alone velocity sensor or can be combined with the Pulsar Velocity Interface Controller.

Area Velocity Flow Meter (Channels <1.5m)

For channels less than 1.5m wide.
MicroFlow can be combined with a dBMACH3 flow transducer (or other dB transducer) and a FlowCERT Controller.

Area Velocity Flow Meter (Channels >1.5m)

For channels more than 1.5m wide.
More than one MicroFlow sensor is needed and can be combined with a dBMACH3 flow transducer (or other dB transducer) and an Ultimate Controller. There is also the ability to add a Speedy contacting velocity sensor into this system.
